Memorex iPod Dock (2012)

This project started with in-depth user research to understand the target audience's music behavior and their expectations from a iPod speaker dock. After identifying 'opportunity areas' and defining the overall direction, we went through a number of prototypes to explore the overall product architecture, usability and physical user interface to final detailing and production 3D CAD files. The ‘MEMOREX MA7221 portable stereo speaker’ incorporates best in class sound quality, along with a sleek and seamless overall appearance, which make it consistent with the iPhone it’s designed for. It was launched in 2012 and is still available on Amazon!
