OXO Pizza Wheel (2012-2013)

This compact pizza wheel takes up very little drawer space. It fits comfortably in the palm of the hand and it's easy to clean. Its safety cap protects one’s fingers when rummaging through the kitchen drawer.

This project was a full immersion in the world of cutting pizza: The ‘OXO Clean Cut Pizza Wheel’ is based on design research, usability and physical interaction design driven approach. Tight manufacturing cost constraints drove this iconic pizza wheel design.

Following an iterative process with user testing and use cycle analysis, the result optimizes functionality, ergonomics, usability and clean-ability. The 'Clean Cut' Pizza Wheel was launched in 2013. It is available on Amazon or at OXO directly!
